Senior Member Speegs Posted January 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 15, 2011 How long do slight bumps persist along the scar line? i still have some raising on the right side of the head, there is no pain and it isn't keloid but it isn't smooth like the rest if my scar, my hair is not short enough for me to look at my scar, I've tried, hopefully that's a testament to a good tri-closure. So opinions on bumps, I am 22 weeks post op, am I going to have to live with a bump that's about two inches worth of scar or will it too subside? Hair loss patient and transplant veteran. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted January 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 15, 2011 Speegs, The bumps in my scar line endured for quite a while after both my hair transplants. I think this second time was even worse than the first time. I'm not sure exactly when all the bumps finally disappeared but I'm at 36 weeks not and it's all smoothed out. Of course, as with every other aspect of hair transplantation, results will vary but I'm optimistic that your scar will smooth out in time.
