Propecia is known to work for a lot of people and just because it doesnt work on someone else, doesn't mean that it won't work for you. Keep us updated with your progress. This COULD POSSIBLY be temporary, and might go away after a month, or you may have it until you stop taking the drug. I believe the pain you feel is your body testes trying to make DHT. I've seen it to be the case with a lot of people on this forum, that the pain dissipates over time. As far as letting it go like that long term, I'm not sure that would be in your best interest. Senior Member brentipold Posted January 20, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted January 20, 2011 It could be a couple of different things. 1.) You're going through a shedding phase. A lot of people on this board have gone through them. You should also keep in mind that their have been people who have gone through these "phases" and the shedding simply didn't stop after a timely manner. 2.) You just dont respond well to Propecia. On some people, the drug just does not work. 3.) You might need a higher dose, but it's to early to tell. Let it go another month and see what happens.
