Rogaine Foam Experience

For about 6 months straight, I've used the generic Minoxidil liquid and just changed to the foam 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately, it caused immediate shedding and noticed how much thinner it made my hair look after two days. It's still thinner though I think the shedding may have subsided. Anyone else experience this?

 

The one positive thing is the massive dandruff I had while using the liquid stopped. For months, flakes were everwhere when I'd comb and I tried Tea Trea Oil, Aloe Gel, Nizoral 1% and nothing would counter it. Now that I stopped using the liquid and started the foam, it's almost non-existant.
