Guest Brad Limmer, MD
Patient is a 63 year old female who presented with extensive frontal hair loss occurring over years. After consultation we decided to move forward planning around 3000+ grafts and full medical management (finasteride, rogaine, biotin). Patient opted to move forward more cautiously splitting her procedure planning ~1500-1600 grafts, allow it to grow in and then plan another 1500 grafts a year or so later. On the day of surgery 18.5 sq cm of donor was harvested with a f.u. density of 88 grafts/ sq. cm. Just over 1600 grafts were generated and placed in an oversized frontal tuft pattern. Post op photos were taken yesterday with her grafts fully grown in and while we had planned an additional grafting session, she is so happy with her results…feeling like she has been given her life back now plans to hold off and enjoy the dramatic improvement from her procedure. Shown are her preop and fully grown in post op photos. Brad Limmer, MD/jac
