Hi, finally received my pics from dr Paths office , will also add them to my website, let me know your thoughts, im on the meds for the crown but im wondering after seeing the photo that ill prob need another transplant. Would it be better to go for a fue doctor next time, i dont fancy another scar??

Congratulations! The work looks great and that hairline is going to frame your face nicely.

 

To answer your question, a second strip procedure doesn't necessarily result in two scars. The majority of the time, the first scar is removed in the second procedure. There are exceptions to this rule but, for most patients, FUE is reserved for those who want to wear their hair very short and want to avoid the scar you already have and those those who have had multiple procedures and can no longer have another strip.

 

I would suggest another strip as the yield is typically better and it's more cost effective.
