  1. Hi Everyone, sorry i didnt get these on sooner, finally transferred them from my iphone to the computer. Im very happy so far adn would appreciate any advice on which way to go for HT2. Im wondering wether to go FUE as i dont really fancy going through the whole scar thing again but think i would if advised as the est way to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks DJames Hair Restoration Journal -One Year Photos
  2. Hi Everyone, having a real busy time so my apologies for not updating sooner, heres my 8 Month pics and link to my blog. I Think things are still going well and my confidence is growing month by month. I used a little nanogen fibres and lost the hat for the first time last week and no one mentioned a thing, looked pretty natural so im thrilled thus far, do let me know your thoughts, Thanks, Djames Hair Restoration Site for djames
  3. Hi Everyone, Things are going really well i think so please feel free to comment on my progress so far. Ive certainly had a confidence boost at this half way mark, Thanks DJames My Blog Link... Hair Restoration Journal -6 Months ( Taken In Sunshine Lit Room )
  4. sadly i lost my mother this week and have the funeral to attend next friday and im only 3 months post op, ive been wearing a hat constantly for a long time before and after the op. I cant really wear a hat at a funeral in church so have the dilema of just going as it is and revealing or dermatching/nanogen cover which im not sure will look right. another example of how it affects daily life in social and as you say in jobs. regards djames
  5. Hi, finally received my pics from dr Paths office , will also add them to my website, let me know your thoughts, im on the meds for the crown but im wondering after seeing the photo that ill prob need another transplant. Would it be better to go for a fue doctor next time, i dont fancy another scar?? thanks Djames
  6. Thats very reasuring Blake, thankyou..i do hope i get a thin scar, its healed quite well and most of the stitches have now dissolved. im debating wether to buzz down and take some photos, i dont think there is any shockloss there but possibly it will stand out because of the buzz down before the operation being shorter a few millimeters either side of the scar.
  7. hi guys, bit pushed for time so ive uploaded the scar photo here, there are some before photos on my site if you search author djames. The office hasnt sent the recipient area with grafts planted photos for some reason so ive emailed to ask for them and will hopefully add them to the site soon. Thanks, Djames
  8. hi folks, im not really seeing any grafts shed at this moment , into the 3rd week. I here a lot saying they should fall in the first two weeks. If your grafts take longer to shed does this normally mean your growth will not be as quick as someone who shed in first 2 weeks. ive only really had crusts after 7 days, i applied olive oil and soaked head and gently massaged and removed them and havent really had any since. If there is a previous post on this kind of thing could anyone point me in the right direction, many thanks Darren (Djames)
  9. Hi Alan, i also stayed close to the nana and pheon chit skytrain stations. My hotel was the FuramaXclusive and was very clean. I dont think it really matters where your hotel is as its so easy to get around on the skytrain. I found it was cheaper to use thomas cook travel agents to get the flight/hotel together which is why i used the furamaxclusive but i think if i go back next year i will base myself in a hotel closer to Dr Path, perhaps near the Ari , Siam or Victory Monument Stations. Im back into my normal routine, taking it a little easier as my donor is a little tender still but all in all everythings been fine, occasional itchiness which irritates you but not too bad. I shall send the clinic an email to see if they send you the pictures they took and ill try and get them on here soon. I can only remember the doc saying youve good donor density, 102 or something like that, i was a bit out of it on the meds they give you but you hear them on calculators working everything out so ill try and get all the info too. Good luck with your trip, simply dont worry as there is no need, i can assure you your in safe hands, Dr Path is ultra professional and will know what he needs to do to put things right.......i didnt really need to tell him where to put my hairline, he uses a laser guide instrument and drew it on and it was exactly as i wanted it. I did take a photo of my younger self just before the hairloss started, not to say i wanted it back like this but to show where it used to be as of course you dont want to lower the hairline past where it naturally was, in my opinion. Oh and do try and do the scalp excercises, i wouldnt say i did them that often but maybe it helped, i wasnt expecting getting the 3810 grafts in one go so maybe i helped it along, who knows speak soon Djames
  10. thanks everyone, im quite prepared for this waiting game and pretty chilled out about the whole thing. The scar was my main worry but im now thinking what would you rather have , a hidden scar and your hair " and life " back or not go through with it because of this scar and continue the constant wearing hats, hiding your head and still be the unconfident social recluse. As for Dr Path, your quite right j1j9j85, hes brilliant and his staff are fantastic too. You instantly know your in good hands. I have noticed today that when running my hands through my native hair on the sides of the head im getting quite a few hairs in between fingers, could this be the start of shockloss?? im straight back into work and had a stressful couple of days so im not sure what its down to. Not too worried tho as its too early to see whats going to happen and i know shockloss is a prob that can happen. Thanks again guys
  11. Hi all, finally got round to choosing the doctor and taking the plunge....had 3810 grafts in bangkok with dr path on tuesday 7th sept, currently 6 days post op and waiting to fly home. I shall post more about my experience once im home and receive all the details and pics from the dr's office. I can say im extremely pleased so far, new hairline looks great, sutures out this morning and all looking well. It really wasnt as bad as i was expecting pain wise, piece of cake really and flew over, speak soon a very pleased djames :-)
  12. Thanks guys, just spoke to Daphne and it seems the problem was that all my pics were together in one email. It simply doesnt get through to them if the files are too large so ive sent them individually and she's received them. Dates available in june so fingers crossed i could be back on track, thanks again Djames
  13. Has anyone had trouble receiving an email reply from dr feriduni or know of his procedure on booking consultations etc. He doesnt seem to have an online consultation form like most of the other clinics so i simply emailed some pictures and a short message but havent heard back. Unfortunately ive had to request my deposit back from Dr Path and possibly re schedule with him early next year or possibly try and go to a european clinic a bit sooner. It just doesnt seem safe to go at the moment. Dr Feriduni seems to do good hairlines which is initally what my main priority is and its pretty cheap flying to belgum and staying nearby compared to thailand. I was hoping for results by next summer for various weddings etc which i normally shy away from and my april appointment in thailand would have been perfect timing but wasnt to be. Id be grateful if anyone whos had a transplant or contact with dr feriduni could offer any advice or do any think i should stick with dr path or maybe point me in the right direction of other doctors in europe. Ive done all the scalp excersises and researched as best i can and am basically wanting to get it done and start getting some confidence back so any help is grately appreciated Thanks Djames
  14. Well, i was unlucky and never made my surgery with Dr Pathomvanich, still no signs of Planes being back to normal. Its going to be a headache resheduling now, id planned this trip to Bangkok really well and also the running of my business while i was away. Ive apologised for the short notice and the Dr said he will hold my deposit for a new surgery. I hope anyone else who is due to have a HT can get their on time and not have this kinda hassle. Wish me luck next time, lol DJames
  15. hI Maxxy, Yeah im kind of accepting the fact im not going to make it. Im still awaiting a reply from the doctor, im sure in earlier emails it was mentioned you dont get a refund of deposit if its 14 days previous to surgery but they do hold the deposit for future resheduled surgerys which is fine. Of course these are different circumstances and maybe he will refund as id not be able to say when i could go again, i imagine the airlines are going to hike the prices up to a shocking level in the aftermath of this. Ill await the doctors reply, Regards Djames
