rocker
Hi all I'm 8 months post op by Dr. Madhu and extremely happy with the results so far. I'm taking Finpecia 1mg and applying Tugain 5%. But I'm not able to apply Tugain during day time (Dr. Madhu prescribed twice a day) bcoz it makes hair wet n sticky. I apply 2ml 2-3 hrs before bed. Is that enough to prevent further hair loss or I need to apply it twice (somehow). How are you guys applying Minoxidil coz I have to use 2-3 ml so that it reaches my scalp most of it is soaked by hair. really feel something is not right inputs awaited. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 17, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted August 17, 2010 rocker, I apply my generic minoxidil by filling the dropper and then touching it to my scalp and spreading drops all around. This gets right to the scalp. Then I rub it in with my fingertips. I feel confident that it is reaching my scalp this way. Best of luck! JoeKid0000
How good are you at spreading the hairs aside for the dropper?
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 18, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted August 18, 2010 I use the dropper to spread the hairs. I just touch it to my scalp and run it all over my head while applying mild pressure to the bulb. That way I get a fine coating all over my head and I let it sit for just a couple of seconds before rubbing it in. It seems to work just fine.
