backspace
I'm having a FUE procedure done next month and I have a couple questions regarding Proscar prescriptions from HT doctors. Do HT clinics write prescriptions for Proscar or only Propecia? Is getting a prescription from an out of state HT doctor any different than getting one from a normal local doctor (e.g. can I pick up the script from local shop or is it mailed, etc.)? Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 14, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted August 14, 2010 backspace, I got my prescription for Proscar from my hair transplant physician. Some doctors will prescribe it and others will not. I don't know about getting a prescription from an out of state doctor. It is my understanding that a physician cannot legally prescribe you medication without an in person consultation. Am I wrong on this? Senior Member hair_me_out Posted August 15, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted August 15, 2010 Just ask for it from your general family doctor. I asked mine and he didn't even look at my hair, immediately wrote an Rx for it. He even wrote it for Proscar so I could save cash! Yay.
