I hate repeating already asked questions, so I looked around a lot, but I haven't seen any information about doing yoga after a transplant. I'm on day 15 post-op, I plan to resume cardio today (wanted to wait until my stitches were out) and I'm wondering if anyone has any idea of when it's safe to do yoga. It's not a major part of my workout routine but I typically do yoga or pilates once or twice a week in supplement to everything else. I'd like to get back into it, but I'm worried about some of the stretching aspects of it.

Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks so much!

Gd question. i used to stretch quite a fair bit before i work out but i dare not do any neck stretching or forward bends for nearly 1mth post op.

Anyone has any comments?

Same as above. I do lots of warm up prior to my workout, but I am very careful not to stretch the neck or do anything that might stress the donor site.

I make sure I keep my chin up at all times. I started back working out on day 8. I kept it very light. I'm now at almost 100% on day 19.

Good luck!
