Regular Member Jeff Hamm Posted July 29, 2010 Regular Member Share Posted July 29, 2010 Very fine hair texture and extensive baldness, Norwood VI. Limitations in the amount of donor hair available per session. One session will not completely cover area of baldness. Options are to transplant 1-2 regions per session, but some patients may not return for additional sessions as recommended. What if you don't have 3000-5000 grafts to transplant? Can you get a reasonable natural looking result? You decide. The eight images show various angles of before and after views. (maximum amount of donor tissue was harvested) 2,735 FUG's yielding 5,636 follicles were transplanted. Strip harvest, layered Trichophytic closure. Last image shows donor scar. HLP recommended and additional sessions suggested for optimal fullness. Great 1st step, hairline restored, resulting in a more youthful look. Hair Restoration Specialist with Dr. Edmond I. Griffin and Dr. Ashley R. Curtis of The Griffin Center of Hair Restoration in Atlanta, GA 1-800-806-4247 Our patient goal is to create imperceptible and natural looking hair transplant results. I think the patient has undergone a very natural and aesthetically pleasing transformation. Nicely done!
