Guest Brad Limmer, MD
The patient presented today has had a long history of hair loss across his frontal hairline. He was originally seen in October of 2008 being started on Propecia and Rogaine with planned surgery to restore his frontal hairline. Unfortunately he had to fly home to the Middle East and unable to move forward with surgery until September of 2009. When he returned to the States we performed a standard follicular unit transplant harvesting 16 sq cm of donor with a follicular unit density of 98-104 f.u./cm ?. Just fewer than 1600 grafts were used to restore the frontal 1.5 cm of his hairline. Planting at an f.u. density of 48-52 grafts /sq cm. Pictured today are his pre op photos from September 2009 and his post op photos taken mid-June 2010 at 9 months post op. Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted June 30, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 30, 2010 Dr. Limmer, Thank you for posting this result. The work looks very natural, and the patient must be very satisfied with the new coverage and density.
