Senior Member Dr.Thomas Rosanelli Posted June 10, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 10, 2010 This patient had a total of 1,610 grafts done over one session. Photos shown are Pre-op, immediate and 10 months post-op photos. Single hair grafts were used in the hairline and follicular hair units were used in the frontal scalp. This patient is also on a combination of Propecia and Rogaine. Dr. Thomas Rosanelli
Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted June 10, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 10, 2010 Rosanelli Medical Associates, Thank you for presenting this impressive case. The results look very dense and natural. The patient must be thrilled at the amount of coverage and facial framing achieved with only 1,600 hundred grafts. Well done! Senior Member Robin-at-USHR Posted June 11, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2010 I definitely agree with Future_HT_Doc, these are great results for such a small amount of transplanted grafts! This patient is very lucky to have thick hair and a doctor who knows how to manipulate the number of hairs transplanted to achieve the best results. Just wondering, but would you happen to know how many singles were used in this procedure? Robin I am employed by Dr. Parsa Mohebi at US Hair Restoration. Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted June 12, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 12, 2010 Dr. Rosanelli, This is an amazing result for any number of grafts but especially impressive for such a small count. This patient is very lucky indeed to have the hair characteristics he does! Thank you for sharing this result! Senior Member phil mascallpen Posted June 13, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted June 13, 2010 (edited) I think it looks good but without question the majority of the success has been from the rogaine and proscar. There is no way 1600 grafts fills in like that and anybody looking at this should realize that. If you are thinking of getting an HT do yourself a huge favor and take proscar FIRST for a year. I would also like to commend Dr. Rosanelli and company for stating the drug regimen as pretty much every other clinic seems to conveniently leave that out. Kudos.
