This 50 year old male patient first came to us in 2007 seeking a hair transplant to fill in balding area on the top of his head. The patient had two sessions which consisted of a total of 3823 grafts- In 2007 we placed 1800 grafts 40% were single hair grafts, 35% were two hair grafts and 25% were three hair grafts.

 

We concentrated on the frontal area using single hair grafts to create a natural frontal hairline with the stick and place method to create a new frontal hairline and fuller frontal forelock. These results were achieved by combining the single hair grafts with the two hair grafts followed by three hair grafts to help create a thicker appearance.

 

The patient was very pleased with his results and decided to have a second session in 2009 of 2023 grafts which consisted of 861 single hair grafts, 948 two hair grafts and 214 three hair grafts.
