combining shampoos

Has anyone tried combining shampoos? For example, using Tricomin shampoo and nizoral and a volumizing shampoo like Aveeda? I don't know if I'm doing more harm than good. I am worried I might be weighing my hair down with too much residue. I had a transplant 4.5 months ago. Starting a few weeks ago, I starting shedding a lot, and I was only using tricomin shampoo or baby shampoo at that time. I am now trying so many different shampoos to stop the shedding.

 

Right now I use so many shampoos......Body Shop Ginger anti dandruff shampoo, nizoral, Aveeda Volumizing shampoo, Tricomin, Nioxin, LUSH Big, baby shampoo..... Usually I will combine a treatment shampoo (Body Shop Ginger, Nizoral, Tricomin) with a volumizing shampoo (Aveeda, LUSH Big). Then I add a conditioner, either Aveeda or Nioxin Scalp therapy.

 

I have a terrible scalp itch, either from minoxidil, or the Tricomin follicle therapy spray, or dandruff, or over washing my hair, or....you get the idea. I only shampoo once a day. My hair is very dry, so I reduced my nizoral usage, but then my scalp gets unbearably itchy, so I increase my nizoral usage, and then my hair gets dry, and the vicious cycle repeats.

 

Please help with any advice.

 

I'm shedding way too much.

 

Then again, this may all be shock loss? :-(
