I previously lost only a couple hairs in the shower and around that time I was losing about 50 but I think it only lasted a couple weeks. For the longest time I thought the "shedding" was some hair loss sufferers' paying too much attention to the hair in the sink and freaking out unnecessarily until it happened to me. Very disconcerting until you realize that it is normal and is the sign the the medication is working for you.
