Senior Member hairbank Posted February 2, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2006 I've been searching for a reputable place on the web to purchase Finasteride (Propecia/Proscar) and came across something called Prosmin. I guess its supposed to be generic Proscar. I searched our forum and didn't get any hits for it. Has anyone heard of this before? Do you know anything about it? It costs $45 for 30 tablets of 5 mg each (proscar dose) or $85 for 60 tablets. The manufacturer is a company called Biotenk, which is based in Argentina, any info on them? They also show Finpecia (generic Propecia) as being available. The company is called United Pharmacies and is based in Oceania and says receives stock of meds from UK and Australia. Any info is appreciated. Thanks. Senior Member GuitarPlayer Posted February 2, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted February 2, 2006 I have never heard of Prosmin. Brand name Proscar should only run you about $80-$90 for a 4-5 month supply if you use a pill cutter. At least you'd have piece of mind then as to what you're getting. Regular Member slick old Posted February 24, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted February 24, 2006 I use the finpecia made by Cipla. It seems to be working and it's much cheaper than propecia. It costs about $130 with shipping for 6 months.
