freddie Posted September 4, 2002 Share Posted September 4, 2002 After three scalp reductions, the back of my head in the center had scarring that my hair wouldn't cover, especially when wet. I have extremely fine hair. I had dark drown tattoo dots placed there on the scarring and it blended with my own hair to give a natural appearance, even when my head is wet. I've since had more tattoo dots on the top of my head and I'm finding that, although it is not a perfect solution, it has helped. Some might want to consider this as one part of an overall solution to having a natural looking scalp, especially if there has been significant scarring.....
