Senior Member JakeVig Posted May 26, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2006 I believe that price is close to what you would pay for the best doctors in the world. 1344 grafts with Ron Shapiro - June 2006
Senior Member the B spot Posted May 26, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted May 26, 2006 I think Dr's, Shapiro, Hasson, and Wong each charge 4.5 to 5 dollars a graft up to 2500. If you are going to pay what the best are charging, why not go to the best? Also, you need to determine why you would cut yourself open for only 1000 grafts? I assume this would be your first HT? If you are transplanting anything larger than 30-35 cm/2 you will not be doing yourself a favor. Of course, one has to wonder if you even NEED a HT. Jerry, I would take some time and perhaps do some online/phone consults with several clinics. You may get some different opinions. I hope this helps you out, a bit!!! You are correct Jake. Go Cubs! 6721 transplanted grafts 13,906 hairs Performed by Dr. Ron Shapiro Dr. Ron Shapiro and Dr. Paul Shapiro are members of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians.
