Regular Member Billydett Posted October 7, 2005 Regular Member Share Posted October 7, 2005 Where can I buy Nixoral 2%? Do I need a prescription?
Senior Member Robert_ Posted October 7, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2005 Nizoral 2% is a prescription medication in the U.S. In Canada, however, it can be purchased OTC. Nizoral 1% is available OTC in the U.S. and many users report similar results with that as with the 2% so that may be an option for you if getting a prescription for it is difficult or until you get the prescription. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog

I use it 3x per week and leave it on for ~5 minutes at a time. No problems as of yet. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog

Senior Member Robert_ Posted October 7, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted October 7, 2005 If it looks like this (Nizoral AD): then you have Nizoral 1%. It is carried in drug stores such as Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Eckerd's, CVS, etc. -Robert ------------------------------ Check out the results of my surgical hair restoration performed by Dr. Jerry Cooley by visiting my Hair Loss Weblog
