Bill - Seemiller Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 Salmansaifulla, Welcome to our community forum. Recommended dosage for hair loss is 1mg per day. Do NOT take 5mg per day of finasteride unless advised by a physician. Finasteride (1mg) and minoxdil are the two best hair loss drugs currently on the market. When used in combination with one another, they give you the greatest chance of combatting against future hair loss and may possibly regrow hair. I hope this helps.
