Bill - Seemiller
PGP, Probably not long if the if you are hair is being transplanted into virgin areas - however, since FUE still does involve pushing, twisting, squeezing, and pulling to extract hair follicles - I would imagine waiting at least 3 months to let the donor scar heal a bit would be wise. Any donor shock loss may cause additional delays. But, perhaps an FUE doctor will chime in with a recommended amount of time. Other than donor scar healing, I don't see any other reason that waiting longer would be necessary. Bill
Dr. Alan Feller
Allow a few days to let the strip grafts granulate into the recipient area and then FUE as much as you want. If you are REAL careful, the FUE can be done on the same day as the strip, but I'm not a big fan of this approach.
