Regular Member Matt-sydney Posted July 20, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted July 20, 2008 Hi group, I understand you should gently rub the grafts off in a circular motion, but am wondering - do you press into the scalp and move the scalp itself around, or do you let your fingers gently brush over the scabs to gently knock them off? Thanks

Bill - Seemiller
Matt, Use your finger tips to gently brush over the scabs in the shower with shampoo. Be sure not to use your nails and wait at least until day 5 or 6, assuming it doesn't contradict your particular physician's postoperative instructions. Best wishes, Bill
