Senior Member Brando Posted April 23, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 23, 2005 Marcelo, At 4 1/2 months post op...you're just getting started man. It varies person to person. I experienced growth really early like month 2-3. My growth seemed to "explode" around months 5 and 6 and now at month 8...I'm still seeing a little bit of new growth. Just hang on for the ride because you've got alot more ahead of you.
Senior Member JacobS Posted April 23, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 23, 2005 How might you define a month, the 23rd April to the 23 May or 4 weeks = a month?
Senior Member Smoothy Posted April 24, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 24, 2005 On the average, 4 months out usually has about 40% growth. By end of 6 months, 80% growth. Each person is different and it depends on how many FU went dormant after the surgery and how many stayed. Regardless the hair shaft keeps growing stronger and thicker in diameter up to 18 months. Senior Member Smoothy Posted April 24, 2005 Senior Member Share Posted April 24, 2005 Also use Rogaine on the grafts to help jump start growth.
