Rogaine Question - Please help!

Hi guys, I'm interested in using Rogaine, but after having a browse about the net I can see it's not just the one product. There's liquids, gels, 5% this, 10% that .. can anyone tell me what the difference between these different Rogain products are, and what is best suitable for hairloss? I'm currently on Propecia, will there be any negative effects from using both together?

I think the liquid works best because the absorption rate is higher. Gels are typically made because there is a higher content of medication that can't easily be dissolved into a liquid form.

Personally I would not go above 5% minoxidil but you should talk to your doctor about that. Using propecia and minoxidil together is a fairly standard and safe protocol.

I agree with Tha Joe. I have heard, however, that the foam is less irritating to the scalp than the liquid, but I'm not sure how it rates with the liquid in terms of efficacy. You only need to use one Rogaine product though. 5% is just fine.
