Regular Member Dr. William Lindsey Posted February 2, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted February 2, 2009 W plasty or geometric broken line closure's, which are even cooler on paper and in real life, are excellent techniques for facial scarring--such as repair of wind-shield lacerations or chain saw back-kicks; and I have used them maybe 15 times in 14 years. I don't see that they would help with donor site scars in my practice. Just a 2 layer trichophytic closure would be easier, less detectable, and cheaper; and I think would give a better results in my hands. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA William H.
