He has put together a mixture of Avodart, Minoxdil with some porgestrone and certain vitamins. I know this is not proven, but could be being studied, so I thought, what the heck, all I've got to lose is hair, which is not a problem. I realize there could be unknown side effects but I'm willing to take this chance. Been on the product for 3 months and the hair I have left is healthier, and stronger, just by feeling. I also have more hair, fuzz at this point growning in. One must realize that Avodart depresses DHT by 90 % and Minxodil ony 40%. Regular Member indian_balding26 Posted September 6, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted September 6, 2008 Avodart supresses both type 1 and type 2 DHT. Propecia supresses only type 2 DHT. Type 1 DHT is found in brain cells! so it is not clear of its functions, hence currently not approved for hairloss. When DHT is supressed completely all the test could possibly convert to estrogen, you may want to add in an estrogen blocker else you may end up with Moobs aka bitch tits!! Did you mean minoxidil orally?? Progesterone is a female reproductive harmone found in tiny quantities in men, i dunno how this could help? any explanation? good luck with your experiment though! i am planning for such an experiment myself! things we do for hair...tsc tsc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
