Guest brent Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 I was wondering what some of you guys tell work to get the time off. at my work we have "personal days" used for sickness, funerals, medical reasons etc. These are separate from my holidays, and was thinling would a transplant be considered medical surgery, since it is elective. I took two weeks vacation for my last HT.................didn't tell anyone particulars about what I was doing. If you're wanting it private I'm not sure I'd recommend saying it was surgery to anyone as some could be curious and press for more information.
