Senior Member MrJobi Posted July 22, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted July 22, 2007 Good The main reasons I like Dermatch better are: 1 - Less mess 2 - Dermatch is water resistent 3 - 1 disc lasts a very long time If you havent used it, try it JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Senior Member MrJobi Posted July 23, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted July 23, 2007 Hi Checked it out superman.. I wouldn't waste my money.. Any product that makes claims like they do is a Sham.. It is impossible to regrow that much hair in 30 day as pictured.. Physically impossible. Again, the only items proven to regrow hair are Finasteride, Minoxidil, and Avodart.. No way a shampoo regrows hair. JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Senior Member MrJobi Posted February 17, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2008 Hi In my 14 years of using concealers (off em since late 2007) Dermatch was the best by far. I have tried Sprays - fullmore, etc powders - Toppiks , etc. Gels - Couvre see the reasons above. I would say Couvre & Toppiks would be second but they are both quite messy. Senior Member MrJobi Posted February 17, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2008 Hi Josh I did try Toppiks and it was ok BUT what I didnt like about was the following -Very messy -Hard to apply to specific area's -Tends to run a little onto your clothes -runs out quicker Dermatch is very simliar to Toppiks but it is pressed into a disc and you apply it . in addition it is water resistant, doesnt run as much, and costs less. Use whatever works best for you of course but thats my experience JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. Guest josh - b
thanks mrjb, I tried dermatch a couple of years ago but didn't like it. I suspect i wasn't using it correctly and thus found toppik easier to apply. In fact i think i gave it one solitary attempt and with a display of zero patience i chucked it in the bin. Am i right in thinking that dermatch just colours the scalp?
Senior Member MrJobi Posted February 17, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2008 Very good point Dermatch actually takes a little time to learn how to use it, moreso than the others. It's like art almost and when you do master it, it is great. There is a guy on here who uses it on a clipped head at guard 1 .. Looks great. Senior Member petesman Posted February 17, 2008 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2008 hi josh, i tried toppik before 2 and i didnt really like it.. the difference i find between megathik and toppik is u just have to be more careful with megathik.. it will do its job but very awkward to style hair after applied.. i just found dermmatch a piece of cake! everyones different so it might be the one for u,, as i said it does work just not for me.. be careful not to touch or brush ur hair when u apply it before adding ur holding spray, there'l be snowballs everywhere!! 2200 DHI Ireland june 2007 Rogaine 5% may 2007 Lasercomb jan 2008 Nizoral aug 2007

Guest josh - b
petesman, I'll let you know my observations when my mega' arrives. As for the reddish tint from dermatch , i also get that off toppik in certain lights. Thats why i've cut back on it lately and have started to use it more spareingly.
