Bill - Seemiller
Dear forum members, I know that many of us use these treatments in order to stop hair loss or if we are lucky, stimulate hair regrowth. I thought I would open this thread for anyone who wants to share their experience with these medications, Propecia, Rogaine, or both, and in what way, if at all, they have helped you. I'd like to possibly post some of these on the Hair Loss Learning Center Blog. Feel free to post your story below. Best wishes, Bill
Regular Member Captain-Obvious Posted April 23, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted April 23, 2008 I'm taking .25mg of propecia for next 6 months to stimulate and hopefully help shockloss of my third HT, which was 1410 grafts placed in-between my previous 2 HT's for density. I think propecia is human fertilizer, I would rather have 10 HT's and a YUGO than manage my hairloss with propecia and drive a porsche.
Regular Member whymewhy Posted April 23, 2008 Regular Member Share Posted April 23, 2008 I have been on propecia for 2 years & rogaine for over 4 years! Cant really be sure if I got any regrowth but the individual hairs have become really thick. Must also say that from past 2 years my hair loss has totally stabilized & almost halted. Never had any serious side effects!
Senior Member NW4recession Posted April 23, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted April 23, 2008 I have been taking propecia for 8 months and noticed at the 6 month mark that I started shedding less hair in the shower. I don't believe I have had any regrowth, but my goal is to keep what I have with Propecia. My Hair Loss Website
