HairQuestions
Judging from several posts, I've noticed that scalp numbness/tingling is sort of an issue after a HT. How long does that generally last? Is there a possibility that feeling will never be regained in the scapt after a HT?

Senior Member hairbank Posted June 16, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted June 16, 2006 I suppose if you went to a "less than optimal doc" you may have a problem with regaining some of the sensation on the scalp or donor area. The majority of the time it's not a problem. I'm right at 4 months post-op from HT # 2 and have had full feeling back in all areas for a since around the 2 1/2 month mark. It had a slightly different feel for awhile but seems to be normal now.
