Dr. Glenn Charles Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 This is actually quite common and occurs more often with coarse hair or with larger grafts. Sometimes conditioners help to soften the hairs. In most cases over time the hair will become less brittle with continued growth and repeated trimming of the hair. Senior Member Eman Posted August 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2009 Transplanted hair, well at least mine, went from very course and a different color (as my hair in the donor area is darker than my top naturally) to beginning to soften up. At ten months my hair is thick and full and still a bit course and wirey, but getting better with time. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out...
