Senior Member Bleachcola12 Posted November 9, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2007 Hey bros, I have decided to undergo a ht with Dr. Rose in december. I hear he is truly artistic with hairlines, and am planning to have about 2000-2300 graphs transplanted. My question is since the graphs will be in the hairline. When will it look like a reasonable hairline. I mean in 5 1/2 to 6 months will it look legit? Thanks for the responses bros
Senior Member hoose Posted November 9, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 9, 2007 I would say at 6 months most of the hairs will have sprouted and it will look normal; you will not have the final results yet--they say at 6 months you are at 50% of the final results. IMO it will look normal and natural just not as thick as it will look at the 1 year mark.
Senior Member TheHairLossCure Posted November 10, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 10, 2007 Hi Bleach. Typically, you will see initial growth between months 3 and 4. Sometimes it will take longer. The nice thing about (high level) Follicular Unit Grafting is that work looks natural even as the hair is gradually coming in. So, aside from the immediate post-op situation, the growth will look "legit". Cosmetically noticeably results will appear between months 5 and 8, and the final result is usually seen after a year.
