Senior Member Rick055 Posted October 15, 2008 Senior Member Share Posted October 15, 2008 I know it's been said, but I need to hear it. I'm 37, a NW 3V, and I'm in my third month of propecia. I'm shedding. My crown went from thin to... Somebody please reinforce this is an indication it's going to work for me, 'cause I'm freaking. 1.25 mg finasteride EOD Rogaine Foam 5% QD am Kirkland minoxidil 5% QD pm Nizoral Q2W American Crew Revitalize Shampoo
Bill - Seemiller
Rick055, What your experiencing is perfectly normal. And though you know it, it doesn't change the fact that you are emotionally upset that you are losing even more hair. In my opinion, it's still the best thing to do to give Propecia a full year to evaluate its efficacy. After all, a reported side effect of Propecia is NOT hair loss. Best wishes, Bill
