Senior Member hairbank Posted March 27, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted March 27, 2006 I just started Finasteride a little over 1 month ago and was advised to take 1.25mg (proscar quartered) every other day which is what I'm doing. Dr. Wong gave me this advice based on the fact that Finasteride actively inhibits DHT for 72 hours. Technically........you may be able to get away with it but who knows. I'd call a reputable HT surgeon or dermatologist for their opinion.
