Senior Member azazelgs Posted January 15, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 15, 2010 Hi everyone, Can somebody please tell me the correlation between anti-depressants and hair loss? I'm using propecia for like 2 months but I started using paxil and tranxilene for about 3 weeks now.My hair loss seems decreased with propecia but not stopped. Bill - Seemiller Posted January 16, 2010 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Azazelgs, The only correlation is that some anti-depressant medications can cause hair loss. You may want to research each medication you are taking and talk to your doctor as to whether or not hair loss is a potential side effect. Bill - Seemiller Posted January 17, 2010 Share Posted January 17, 2010 Azazelgs, I don't know anything about these drugs off the top of my head however, I'd recommend doing a search for "Paxil hair loss" and "Tranxilene hair loss" on google to see what kind of information you can find.
