I'm not too concerned about possible loss of libido since mine is in major overdrive lately. Seriously, though. I'm going to visit my dr this weekend and I wanted to see what you all thought before I talked to him about it. And/or if there were any other pills out there that are legit. Thanks!! Guest Posted October 8, 2003 Share Posted October 8, 2003 Both are basically the same drug, Dutasteride is stronger and blocks both types of DHT, but all in all I would suggest Propecia before trying Dutasteride. I'm presently on Dutasteride, but had great results with Propecia. Dutasteride is more expensive, but workd better for me. Try Prooecia first. People respond in different ways. You never know if it might loose it's effect in the far future and then you can switch on avodart which is stronger. Greetz.
