Regular Member tuscansun Posted September 7, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 7, 2007 Since i am not able to see my donor area I can feel some bumps in the donor. So just wanted to know if its the scab or the scalps overlaping. If its the scab then its going to fade away rite..

Senior Member nobuzz4me Posted September 7, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 7, 2007 Tuscansun, I do not know how long it has been but you can expect some swelling in that area as well for a week or two. Also, the fluid shot into kill pain can cause these bumps simular to forehead swelling as the fluid moves down the face area around day 3-6. Take it easy, use some ice and it will go away in time. Regular Member Ryan32 Posted September 8, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 8, 2007 You will be fine. After my procedure i noticed that the staples scabbed over very quickly. The only real issue i had was with itching. That is casued by the healing proccess itself. Donot worry.
Senior Member pushing 40 Posted September 8, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 8, 2007 I had weird little lumpy areas for weeks afterwards. I think it was just localized skin swelling from the trauma; all gone now.

Senior Member MrJobi Posted September 12, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 12, 2007 Be sure to keep it clean and don't be afraid to massage firmly with soap to remove scabs as time goes on ( no nails but good even pressure) This will prevent excess scarring JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations.
