Another Shockloss Question?

I think you are fine HairHope, the old transplanted hairs should return. Permanent shockloss typically occurs to hairs that are miniaturized and on their way out anyway. Transection can also cause permanent shockloss as well, I believe.

Ah the paranoia...you will be fine!

Thank you guys for the kind words of hope and calming my mind - always a fun time for a HT recipient.

Spex, I apologize however all the years I have been here, I never discuss docs, etc. I like to think most of the questions I ask have good external validity icon_wink.gif

What is the average time that need previous transplanted hair to regrow after shockloss and what is the average time for hair around donor area to regrow after shockloss?

Dormant 3 months (100 days). Normal time for hair to move from telogen to anagen phase.

take care...
