HairQuestions
Somewhere on one of these forums I read that the scalp eventually turns 'sheet white' after a hair transplant due to all the scar tissue from the insicions. Is there any truth to this? I've never seen it in any of the pictures you guys have posted, so I don't know if it's BS or not. Thanks.

Senior Member JakeVig Posted June 25, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted June 25, 2006 This may not be relevant to what your hearing but after you shampoo and wet your recipient area the skin bubbles and becomes very white and looks likes bad dandruff. So the white flakes may be what they are talking about the scalp being sheet white. But yeah this is not noticeable when dry. 1344 grafts with Ron Shapiro - June 2006
