Senior Member kaounis Posted May 24, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 24, 2009 Hey Javed, apply plysporin or neosporin, 2 to 3 times a day...Wash your scar with lukwarm water in the shower at least twice daily...Taking vit. c 1000 mg also helps speed up healing...Other than that, there is not much else you can do...It's basiclly a time thing...All wounds heal themeselves with time...Keeping it clean will help avoid any infections... One more thing.. should you start applying these medics a couple of days after your surgery or you should wait for the stitches to come off and then start applying it daily.. Done done..
