Regular Member pao_pao3 Posted November 17, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted November 17, 2007 Hi guys! I had a pimple weeks ago in my recipient area. I put anti-bacterial ointment on it for a couple of days, and it seems to have subsided. However, there is still a red area where the pimple used to be. It does not hurt though when I clean this area. But it's been there for weeks. Any advice on how to make it go away? Thanks! Senior Member hoose Posted November 17, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 17, 2007 IMO, it will heal with time; just like a pimple on your face, the pimple takes time to dry up and for the redness to fade. I would just leave it alone and just give it the "gift of time."
Regular Member pao_pao3 Posted November 19, 2007 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 Thanks for the reply dhoose75! I am just leaving it alone. Perhaps it will just disappear over time. Thanks again. My Hair Loss Weblog
Senior Member Dr. Ricardo Mejia Posted November 19, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2007 Pimples sometimes occur as the hair follicle begin protruding through the scalp. In some cases, it is like and ingrown hair and will resolve by itself. If you get a larger red inflamed cyst that is annoying, it can be injected with Kenalog or it can be drained if it is not resolving.
