Senior Member notgoing2gobald Posted September 26, 2007 Senior Member Share Posted September 26, 2007 from my understanding, virtually all coalition docs have a history of very high yield. As far as the percentage goes I dont know, I think Ive read Bill comment on this somewhere, but this is something that has always bewildered me. I mean, come on, NOONE is counting the individual grafts after they grow in. Furhter more on the same token, how can docs report virtually no shockloss? In reality how does anyone know if what they are growing in is the new transplanted hair or their old hair? I would really like some guys to weigh in on this (especially the shockloss bit) because this is something that Ive always wondered.
Regular Member spineguy1 Posted September 26, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 26, 2007 Good question, I've wondered this myself. Has this been studied?
Regular Member SinTPA Posted September 28, 2007 Regular Member Share Posted September 28, 2007 I asked Dr. Eptstein the question. He said that he generally has yields above 90%. I would be interested in more quantitative numbers from a study. My Hair Loss Weblog 1st HT with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein 2,599 Grafts
