Should I be worried?

Hi all

Im 9 days post op and just recently have I started to get dry skin up top and once in a while, looks like a hardened folicle comes out attached to a hair (usually after shampo when i gently rub it with my finger)

.

its no a soft folicle, like it's still alive, it's very hard, almost like dried skin, but i can see it looks like a folicle(and sometimes i can see one or two hairs attached to it!).(and there is no blood)

Should I be worried?

Anyone have any answers or similar experiences?

Hi at 9 days post op your head is pretty safe from the grafts falling out in the wash. The hairs shed in lots of different ways some come out just a hair no root, some will come out with the root (hair bulb), some with dry skin attached, no need to worry the follicle is surviving in your scalp.

At day nine you need to be washing your hair normally, so expect to see lots of dried skin, etc.

All the best
