I agree with TomA. I'm a real estate broker and if I gave a consultation to a potential client and requested a fee for this initial meeting I would be kindly shown the door.

I would not have a sit down. There are too many uncertainties about life: what's the point of bringing up something that may or may not affect him. It would be like discussion with your son (OR DAUGHTER) that there's a chance that they may be infertile. Part of life is dealing with its challenges as they present themselves, not worrying about them in advance. That being said: If a parent notices that their son is losing hair at an early age and the son is visibly troubled by it, that might be a more appropriate time to discuss. Just my thoughts. (From a guy who's dealt with both hair loss and infertility.

While I initially thought I'd want to have my HT in the fall as we in the midwest prepare to hibernate, I decided to have mine at the end of this month simply because I'm more eager for time to start doing it's thing (growing season ya know). The tradeoff: I'll have a little less swimming time this summer (I plan to stay out of the sun and clorinated pool....eliminate any factors that might affect growth), but things should look alot better 12 months from now in NEXT summer's pool season.
