Dr. Fisher did a 2000 unit transplant on me(my first) on 2/25/08 and I am well pleased with the process, the staff and most of all, with Dr Fisher. He placed each FU personally and completed the process in about 4 hrs. I agree that his office manager's quoted price was higher than other physicians I consulted with, but, after speaking with him directly about a plan specific to me, I wanted him to do this procedure. This is not a procedure you cut corners on but I could not afford his initial price so I called his office and made a counter offer, they called back and accepted my proposal, contingent on me having the procedure done within the next 60 days. I did and I am happy thus far.

Being new to the Network, my question would be is this the way all physicians are selected? Not that I discount Bill's opinion but seems there should be some testimonials from recent patients in addition to these photos. I know I pay more attention to what is said here than what is on the physician's web site. Just my 2??

Rottun - I met with Mike Ramsey in the Brentwood PAI office last week for a consutation. He is a good spokesman but not the one doing the procedure. I plan to meet with two more Doctors in Nashville (one is Fisher) in the next couple of weeks and thought I might go back to PAI to speak to the physician directly -- but after what I read here, I think I will go visit Dr Rose instead.

Bow Have you had the consultation with Dr Fisher? I am scheduled to see him on 1/3/08 to discuss a first HT. tom
