  1. Howdy All, First let me say that I realize my hair loss isnt that bad, comparatively speaking, but its been devestating to me. Im 37 now and I first noticed my hairline receeding when I was 20, so its luckily been a very slow process for me. Its just within the past year that its been severely thinning in the front and somewhat on top and its now becoming very noticable. As you can see you can literally count the hairs in front (and it looks a lot worse in the sun light). Id like to get a transplant to bring the hairline down somewhat and also thicken the front to where it looks like it used to (a full head of normal hair). I was guessing maybe somewhere around 1500 grafts would be great. Im planning to see Dr. True some time in the future but before I do I was wondering what you all think: I dont want to wait until it gets a lot worse before I get a transplant but I dont know if any Dr. would do it at this point(?). Or would they? Can anyone estimate how many grafts I would need? Thanks!! (heres the front view pic)
  2. I was researching last night and found out that the Argentina Proscar is manufactured in England. It looks identical to regular proscar and its made by Merck so Im pretty sure it cant be all too untrustworthy (I hope).
  3. So I got my Proscar from Argentina and just wanted to get some opinions: Does the box/packaging look legit to you? Would you trust it being that its obviously made by Merck?? Thanks for any opinions...

  5. Howdy Hairbank, Could you please explain what you mean by having issues with consistency of meds ordered overseas? Does that mean that the actual meds may not contain what its said to contain (or something different)? Thanks, Jeff
  6. Yes, I know its frowned upon to get proscar w/out a prescription and from overseas but I honestly couldnt afford to see a Dr. right now so I took the chance. I ordered it on 5/4 and got it today 5/16. It came from Argentina, was only a total of $55.50 for 30 tablets and it came in a Merck labeled box (also labeled Proscar 5mg (Finasteride), only the rest was written in Spanish). So if I take it every other day I now have at least a six month supply. Just thought Id share my experience. Jeff

  8. Thanks a lot Hairbank... I fully understand now.
  9. Ive read most of the posts here and Im really confused: If proscar can be taken every other day then why do guys take it every day?? Whats the best way to go w/ this... every day or every other day? Thanks in advance, Jeff
  10. Howdy All, I cant afford to see a Dr. right now and am interested in ordering Proscar from this place http://planethealthstore.com/products/proscar.php The Proscar is made by Merck and comes from either Brazil or Argentina. Its definitely cheaper than getting here in America so my question is what could be wrong w/ ordering from them? Ive ordered Xanax from overseas in the past and never had a problem w/ that. Thanks for any opinions/advice.
