1. After all this research, I am now considering Dr. Hasson. Tried making a booking but no date till sep. No matter what, I will not consider Dr Khan. This is a never ending research so mate one will have to take the plunge.
2. Pardon me but you must be crazy, if you are just going to believe what your friends tell you, then why are you on these forums at all? I got the same information from my friend about Dr. Khan and I too had a word with him on the phone. Although he did mention numerous Bollywood celebrities, I wasn't too convinced. There is so little information available on Dr. Khan. And whatever little info is available, it's totally negative. He is not recommended by any medical association. I know he operates from Dubai but are there any related laws in Dubai? What if the transplant goes wrong? Who will your sue and where? I think the best is to focus on successful surgeons in Canada or US. They might not be as generous as Armani or Khan but they will do a realistic transplant and not over charge you for those extra grafts. And if you can convince them, they might do a lower hair line. The TRUTH is that YOU are getting BALD mate. Why are you bothered about some tiny scar which will not even show? But you sure want butter on both sides of the bread. ! Well, keep researching till you loose it ALL. GOD BLESS.
3. Hair Line and Temple Angle Design: Armani Vs Hasson How does one decide whether to go for a "MATURE LOOK" hair line or to further lower the hair line for a younger look? As per Dr. Hasson, "Many times, patients ask us to close in their temples and/or lower their hairline in a manner that has the end result resembling what they may have had as a teenager or something that was still present in their early twenties. The problem with this is that straight hairlines with filled and/or closed temples and low hairlines is something seen on juvenile males and females of all ages." "As one ages this continues to be increasingly unnatural as you continue to age. We prefer to rebuild hairlines that are suitable for adult males. This can be done in a fashion that leaves the patient with a strong hairline that will be suitable as they age. Temporal recession is normal for adult males and we believe that mature adult oriented hairlines do not denote an appearance of hair loss but rather compliment the patient's facial structure when performed correctly." Dr. Armani, "Alvi Armani uses the basic principles of hair line design defined by the famous Italian artist and inventor Leonardo Da Vinci. The hair line in most individuals starts at 1/2 the distance above the eyebrows, from the distance between the eyebrows and the chin. "Temple angles provide the connection from the hair line to the sides of the head producing a "frame" around the face. Traditionally hair transplant clinics have not closed the temple angles. This is due to the technical difficulty in angling the hair correctly as the temple hair connects with the sides of the head. Also because of the time it takes to implant this region of the head. At Alvi Armani we consider the temple angles to be one of the most important parts of the hair transplant regardless of technical difficulty, time and cost. When our patients are faced by their families, friends colleagues they are looked at their faces. The hair lines and the closed temple angles frame the faces that make them unique. Armani is known for the playing a lot with the hair line and gives a younger look to the patent. Ofcourse, this requires more grafts and the doc makes more money too. But then if the donor area is depleted, then the patient cannot fix the future hair loss. WOT SAY?

5. Hair Styles Advice and Creative Hair Line I have come across several sites that offer advice on hair styles and what looks good on a different face shapes. I guess a creative hairline that has a proper placement height and temple angle closure is important. Does it really make sense to consult such sites before having a transplant? Maybe one can provide more inputs to the doctor and achieve better results. Doc is not going to go out of the way to give you the best hair line. His job is to restore your hair and not give top hair line.
6. I got a number from a second doctor too. 2400 grafts. 100% less than the first one. i.e a diff of 3000 grafts i.e $30,000. How does one know how many grafts are actually needed and what to pay?
7. Number of Grafts? Pattern/Class I was wondering if one could estimate how many grafts would be needed for a moderate/moderate to large hair transplant (Pattern 1, Between Class 4 & Class 5) One of the doctors recommended: Grafts: 2000 (Crown) & 3500 (Frontal) What factors would the no. of grafts depend upon? Thanks for your help.

9. I spoke to Dr. Sajjad Khan today and he claims to have done outstanding hair transplants for numerous Bollywood stars and one of my friends (overseas) has also got his transplant done from him. . When I visited his website, I did notice that there are two Dr. Khans. From what I read on their website, it seems they are the inventors and the best in the industry but then while researching on the forums, it's a different story. Dr. Khan has provided me with the number of an Indian celebrity and asked me to meet him in person. He is willing to provide with as many patient phone numbers so that I can review the results. While, I will continue with my research, I would appreciate some more feedback on Dr. Khan. It's shocking to see that that the forum contributors are same people from Dr. Khan's company which really makes me rethink on my selection. Regards
10. I just spoke to Dr. Sajjad Khan today and he has confirmed that he has performed countless hair loss surgeries for many celebrities (Bollywood: Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor and many more). Dr. Khan is originally from Pakistan and based in Calfornia, USA. He performs surgeries in US and also in Dubai at Medcare Hospital. One of my close friends in Dubai has also got two sessions from him and very happy with the results. Dr. Khan has provided me with many phone numbers and has asked me to meet some of his clients. I feel this is the best way to judge his work. Unfortunately, there is little information available on Dr. Sajaad Khan on the Internet. I also went to his website (provided by him) but the name of the doctor on the website is Shagufta Khan M.D, not Dr. Sajjad Khan. Before I take the plunge, I need more insight.

12. I am writing from Dubai. One of my close friend informed me that Dr. Sajaad Khan is the one who has done Bollywood Star, Salman Khan's transplant. 3 procedures and the guy looks awesome. But I have no idea about the gender of the doctor and his/her location. So I will begin my research and keep you guys informed.

14. Dr. Armani seems to be recommended by Spencer Kobren, President from the American Hair Loss Association. There are quite a few patient videos on YouTube.
15. Great!> WIll have a look at his website. How do you subtantiate that he is the one!. Will need to do some more research on his work.
16. Salman Khan and Govinda Hair Transplant Who is the doctor and where in Dubai? Both these actors have got their hair transplants in a Dubai Clinic. Just wondering how to get the details of the Clinic and the doctor's name? Any clues? Why don't such doctors showcase their portfolio when then work on celebrities? After all if someone is willing to pay a price for the transplant, how does he shortlist a surgeon? Actors are the best testimonials
17. Hello Everyone, I have been contemplating a hair transplant for the last 3 years. Haven't done any sort of research lately (2 years), besides that I met Dr. Woods in Australia (2 years back) but was told that the results won't be 100%. So I did not go for it. I am willing to spend as much money as spent by Hollywood/Bollywood celebrities. I need a top class transplant with 100% guaranteed results. Can anyone help me so that I can start with the right kind of research with the information that is passed on to me? Thanks in Advance.

19. As I mentioned, Dr. Mat....for strip and Dr. Woods....for FUE. Still weighing my options. I only want the best
20. Mate, what made you go ahead with ur decision to undergo strip surgery instead of FUE? Price Doctor Else? Thanks
21. No mate, I will not be comfortable having an ear to ear scar across the back of my head. To my knowledge there are only two techniques. 1) FUE 2) Strip excision The crown results of FUE may not be good but there won't be any scars definitly. Strip seems like a butcher work. Where do I go from here?
22. Thanks mate for your great feedback. I did get a response from Dr. Martinick "It appears that you are still actively losing hair in your mid scalp and crown areas. To restore your present loss it would require 1000 single follicles in your hairline plus 800 double grafts to thicken-up your mid scalp and crown areas. However, a word of caution. You will continue to lose hair in the mid-scalp/crown areas unless you can stabilize your present condition by administrating oral medication containing active ingredient finasteride. (Propecia)" ARFY !! So 1000 single follicles and 800 double grafts! How do you come to the conclusion that there is simply not enough donor hair available to restore your entire head to "pre hair loss" levels? Not questioning your knowledge in this industry but still wondering. As per your explanation about filling the crown area; no wonder Dr. Woods was not confident about this particular area. I do want to have a realistic idea on what can be achieved from a hair loss surgery. I have used Revivogen in the past and did see some improvement in my hair loss. I am not too confident about Propecia though. I had a friend whose hair condition was stable when he was using Propecia, but once he left it, all his hair was gone. And what about the possible side effects? Would you recommend Revivogen? I am definitely concerned about the crown area. I will post my pictures shortly so that you have a better idea. I have short listed Dr. Martinick and Dr. Woods. Dr. Woods seems to be charging almost twice. Costs are not an issue but I would only take the plunge once my concept is clear about surgery and related expectations. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
23. Hi have just sent my pictures to Dr. Martnick and awaiting her response as to the number of procedures I would require. Dr. Woods was not confident about my crown area when I met him. So you reckon strip procedure would be the best. And that too without any scars or else? As I mentioned before, Price is not an issue here. I simply want the best top of the line treatment mate with ZERO side effects or marks. I did check you picture. If I am able to see what it looked like before the procedure, only then I would know the extent of success. How long does a single procedure take and time to heal? I hope one doesn't look like a cartoon after it. What are the related costs that you paid? I will send you an email shortly Thanks
24. Guys, My research is still on and i am still not sure what to opt for. Cost is not an issue for me. The results are. I want a 100% solution with no side affects or else. Dr. Woods has clearly told me that the corwn region will not cover nicely although I don't have too much of a hair loss at this region. will post my photos shortly. Now I am contacting Dr. Martnick again as I have been reading about her procedure and success. If I wanted to get the best treatment performed anywheer in the world, what would that be and where?
