Hi all, Had my first consult with Dr. Bernstein a few weeks back. Couldn't get to see Dr. Feller because of a schedule mix up. Was a lil pissed since I was in east coast from a pretty distant place. Will try next time. Anyway, Dr. Bernstein hadn't mentioned anything about the receiving area becoming more optimal if the area is shaved like a crew cut. Isn't it sometimes better to see the hair at length so they can see the way the curls or waves go as they get longer?..My hair loss[mostly receding a bit in front and temple area] has seemed to have stabalized for the past 15 years and now at age 49. Dr. Berstein wanted me to go on the generic propecia, a quarter pill a day until i have surgery and perhaps continue it. Any of you have any experience with it as far as re-growth,stabalizing loss, etc.? Any help or thoughts would be helpful. Im still going to go ahead with surgery, but want to first see Dr. Feller for a second opinion thanx all shmutzydawg

hey cousin it, any chance you have any pics to share??.would love to see results of hairline...3700 seems like alot of grafts..no??..you still retain the volume from the donor area.? or does it feel like something missing...one of my concerns...but im headed to new york in a few weeks and will get my questions answered... thanx again for your time drew

Hi Bill, Thanx again for your extensive research,answers and thoughts. I will take your advice and will try and see the three docs i mentioned when i go to nyc. sounds like the strip method [because of success rate and expense] would be my first choice as opposed to the fue..but will see after my consultations. will keep you guys posted as i go forward with consults and hopefully the procedure have a great new year drew

thank you cousin it, appreciate the feedback.. i will be in new york and would make a visit to all three i suppose... thanx for the tip on exercise and propecia...didnt know you needed to take it... sounds like feller might be a good choice..any idea on the f.u.e procedure as opposed to the strip one..which is easier on the body..i really have no idea..just going by what ive seen some of you talk about.. thanx again drew
