How far back did your doc put the grafts, if he put them in between existing hair and back into the middle of your scalp You will fine. You may want to take propecia if you can tolerate it, and rogaine as well. How many grafts were transplanted?

Im on propecia right now, out of desperation,however I did take propecia 3 years ago and stopped, 3 weeks after, I got my sex drive back,lost the weight and started loosing my hair again, thats the reason I got a hair transplant. Now Im back on it untill today..Im quitting again, I know I'll get the sex drive back again!

yes ,I believe its the lighting ,not natural light, I should take a couple in the sun, I will update ..this is driving me crazy

The hairs you are seeing in the shower are being shed because of the hairs that are growing underneath the original. The follicle is now producing hair and it has to have somewhere to grow,dont be alarmed, that is the natural cycle, it will become darker and longer than the previous one. I have learned by experience,it does take a while to see the results. Now the other problem, a few percent of men will have libido problems, waking up in the morning and no morning glory cant maintain erection , wont last too long, weight gain,hard to workout,mood swings. You have to find out what is more important,hair or sexlife. I myself cant tolerate it, I did take propecia for 6 months and couldnt take it anymore. I hope this helps

This is my before hair transplant picture, 1 year after stopping propecia..all the gains I made using med drugs, were completely erased,except rogaine which helped keep the follicle roots alive. I can still take propecia and the roots will give way to hair,unlike people who dont take anything,and wonder why propecia doesnt work. This unfortunately is a lifetime commitment. I thought a hair transplant would be the end of my problems,unless I go to Hasson and Wong, Ill be managing my hair wows for quite some time.

Im happy about the regrowth, I thought it might be seasonal,but Ive never had that much hair to tell before the transplant. The only reason I HATE taking propecia,proscar, is that it makes me gain weight,absolutely no lobido, and cant exercise..I just feel lazy and lethargic. I would have stayed on propecia, I was having great results in the front and the temple areas, the reason I opted for the transplant is the horrible side effects I encountered. This is the reason I hope it is a seasonal shedding and not loss of grafts.I hope to stop using and test to see if the transplants will start shedding again. Thanks for all your support and help. My transplant looked great after the first 6 months and after another 5 months looked even better. I was so proud of the way it turned out, it looked quite full, even the girls at the office were making comments about how the procedure turned out. Then around the 16th month,I noticed thinning on the side and the temple regions were thinning so much,my close friends were noticing . it looked like a combination of native hair and transplanted hairs. I noticed small divots were there were 3 and 4 hair grafts at one time that were completely gone. others were so weak that it looked like I could just pull on them and they would come right out. In a panic ,I rushed to get a second transplant since it was October and it was winter and I needed to wear a hat anyway,perfect time for a second procedure. After the second...the shock of surgery made a lot of the thinner and native hair fall out as well...now I am in real panic mode As a desperate measure, I stared using propecia everyday for the last 2 months...wow what a difference , all the old transplanted hairs that were weak are growing back stronger than ever, the divots that were empty , are now producing hair, its getting so thick looking that I may have prematurely had a 2nd for no reason...I looked at the doner site and it looks like it is in the right place,not to high or low...in the safe zone. what was causing this phenomenon? Am i going to have to keep using propecia for the reset my life?!
