  1. After researching on this forum, and looking at tons of blogs and pics, I am under the impression that most people see the real results around 10-12 months. I have seen many amazing results, and very few looked decent at all at the seven month mark. Does anyone out there agree with me?
  2. Emperor- If you look at the blogs and archive of photos people have posted, you'll see that the vast majority of growth seems to come at 8-10 months. It's not uncommon to have 50% or so growth at the 7 month stage. I've even see a number of people who looked pretty good at 12 months and excellent and 14-18. I've also seen plenty of people with great results who really didn't look very good at all at 7 months. If you went to a top doc, I wouldn't make any judgments about the procedure at this stage. I know it must be hard because it must feel like you've been waiting forever to see the results. Good luck.
  3. I'll try to find some information about it online and link to it. I recall reading about the phenomenon a few years back on another forum. A couple of top doctors (a few on this forum I believe) did chime in and confirm that this could happen in some cases. There was also mention of how this occurrence had other exciting implications in terms of cells in other parts of the body to wake yup surrounding cells. I'm always surprised that no one ever makes mention of it. It must be super rare.
  4. Hi guys- I remember reading a long time ago about how there are rare instances where the transplanted hair can awaken surrounding follicles that had been presumed dead. Could anyone shed some light on this? Specifically, how common a phenomenon is it? Sometimes I see photos of people where I honestly cannot believe the transformation, and it almost doesn't make sense when I add up the facts (grafts, hair quality, extensiveness of loss, etc.) Is it possible that some people who have had dramatic results on this forum have had this happen, where native hair has suddenly started growing? I'd love to hear a doctor comment about this. Thanks.
